Well I never!
A few days ago I started the thread When Two Tribes Go To War" to hopefully instigate a debate about the acceptability and content of this cartoon and how it relates to the possible divison of hobby photographers on the basis of what equipment they use.
Now, the debate had just warmed up and there were a number of very pertinent replies reflecting all shades of opinion on the subject and what happens?
I come home from work to find I cannot respond to any of these points because the thread has been locked!
Sadly, I did note that the majority of respondents found this cartoon not only acceptable, but actually funny.
Well, at least I managed to get you all to have a massdebate in public, too bad I couldn't join in!
For the record, my interpretation of the cartoon was that it would be quite understandable for a Nikon and a Canon owner to mug an Olympus owner for his E3 - and then fight over it themselves afterwards!
