ON1 Update -- did I press the wrong thing?

Just got a notification that there was an update to On1 and installed it -- or so I thought. It was a minor update but now it's downloaded a whole new setup and install, asking for file locations, whether I want a desktop shortcut etc. This seems a tremendous amount of overkill for what looks like a few minor tweeks. Is this normal for On1 updates?

A complete overwrite is quite normal with apps generally, though they tend to pick up your previous settings ...
