Has anybody else had the email about this? I’m sure it’s probably wonderful software but the examples they show here don’t seem to show it off very well. To me there looks to be a lot of loss of definition (especially around the edges) and the backgrounds look very blotchy. I’m honestly not sure in the example at the top of the article whether the before or after is better

I was sent a different link that made it look much better. Not sure it's as good as Topaz without a side-by-side comparison, but it did seem pretty good for that type of software.

On1 says it’s the best there is for noise reduction which actually means we’re bigging up our software but there are actually other programs far better.

try Pure Raw by DXO. I guarantee On1 won’t be any better than that.

From what I have seen on their web site I'm not that impressed and at $79.99 (normal price) it's not cheap, especially when you think it'll be the same again in 12 months time when they launch the "improved" version.

I'm an On1 user but won't be forking out for NoNoise AI - I will stick with DeNoise AI.

Already use On1 Photo RAW on occasions and the Noise reduction is not IMO that good so I use Topaz Denoise AI and Sharpen AI, On1 I guarantee will offer NoNoise AI as a major selling point for the next version of On1 photo RAW 2022 when it comes around probably in the Autumn time. I am finding Topaz AI programs are doing a pretty good job right now the only question on Topaz and again OMO do you need to buy both Denoise AI and Sharpen AI a both do a good denoising output? Russ.

Quote from On1 website: "NoNoise AI will be incorporated into the next release of ON1 Photo RAW (likely version 2022)"
So it looks like if you update to On1 2022 you will get NOnoise AI anyway.
I too, am interested to see how it compares to Topaz.

They did the same thing with Portrait AI - stated selling it as a stand-alone application and then included it into On1 RAW. To my thinking this is a dubious policy that is going to alienate many potential customers.

I agree.
I think the way NoNoise is being marketed is quite confusing, we are invited to place an order at a discount price without any opportunity to evaluate its performance. Others have pointed out that all On1 software has a 14-day money-back guarantee, but there is no mention of this on the discount offer page.
I don't use noise reduction software very often, andTopaz does a great job when I need it.
I will wait until the next version of On1 (On1 PhotoRAW 2022?) is released and see if NoNoise has been incorporated.

We'll all the hype from On1 was about the release date of June, now I no there is still one day to go before June ends but really they are cutting it fine!!!

They requested a survey completed last week to assess which images processed through the software were 'best', so maybe tomorrow......

I rarely feel the need for NR software, but if the On1 website says "NoNoise AI will be incorporated into the next release of ON1 Photo RAW (likely version 2022)" it looks like I will finish up with it anyway.
I already have Topaz NR, so it will be interesting to see how it compares.

The good thing about this competition between manufacturers is that the customer will ultimately benefit.

Likewise, I haven't used more than the base settings of lightroom since getting a Sony A7III. May well upgrade to 2022.

So NoNoise has been out for a while now, I did try the trial option but just thought Topaz Denoise AI did a or gave a better result on very high ISO images and as I will probably upgrade my 2021version of PR it seemed silly to throw money away on the stand alone option of NoNoise, however would like to ask has anyone done a comparison here on the forum not from the YouTube brigade between NoNoise and the DXO Pure Raw offering? Thanks,Russ
