PetaPixel reports:

ON1, the software maker behind ON1 Photo RAW 2020, has just released something called ON1 360°: an “end-to-end photography workflow solution” that lets you view and edit your photos across various devices without needing to store them in the cloud, and all for a lot less than Adobe is charging for Creative Cloud.

Seems like a good deal for anyone who mainly uses Lightroom and wants to save money.

I've been reading about this today, seems like it could be a good deal if it's as feature rich and well integrated as Lightroom is. I like the base storage amount of 200Gb and the fact it just syncs your existing folder structure rather than having everything live in the cloud. If the iPad and Android apps are good quality I would definitely give this a go.

It's not there yet though for me... Sadly... I use the DAM & print side of things more than the photo editing.

Still - it's a good sign, and if it puts pressure on Adobe that can only be a good thing.

The 20Gb cloud storage on the Photography plan is not very good. I can work around it, but even 100Gb would be plenty for what I need. I don't need 1Tb of cloud storage

I'm only using it for DAM at the moment. Last year's version turned out to be too slow for my PC. This year's is faster and runs OK on a 2015 MacBook, but it still slow on Windows 10 for some reason. People with newer or faster machines should be OK, though.

If enough people feed back on this, they might possibly introduce a new 100GB or 200GB tier. They do sometimes listen to feedback, though last time I was on the forums I saw that they didn't react too well to overly-negative feedback.

I might do that, I would happily pay a little extra for a bit more cloud storage. If it was say £12.99 a month for 100gb storage I’d definitely pay the bit extra

I use ON1 all the time so signed up for 1TB plan as soon as I got the email
I agree that the apps will be key and I have concerns over their compressed Raw format. Also they tend to bring out fully featured software first and then it takes a couple of patches before it is really any good and all the bugs are fixed.
I really like Photo Raw, very powerful software, so I will report back once it is live on how it is
