That,s great news, I was just about to offer the loan of my 500EL, until you got it fixed. Well done and your moment of weakness is forgiven.:D:thumbs:

I have been reading this thread with interest.Mel I am really pleased that you have your camera fixed and are hopefully now staying with film.

I have just recently gone back to using film and so far really enjoying it again.
I hope your camera now, gives you many more years of great service :thumbs:

I spent a pleasant hour in my college's darkroom printing my MF negatives... and am falling even more in love with the format.

We don't hold grudges here, you are totally welcome to post in film land.

If it all starts getting a bit nobby further up the board, come down here, light yerr pipe put yerr feet up and order a latte..:)

Conflict of interests ??

The Bladd and film is not gonna sit snuggly in to a digitally managed business.

Its not that easy to get professional quality digital images from film.

If you could get clientèle who want film images BECAUSE they are film, then you can apply a business plan to it, to include doing what you are supposed to do with film....wet print.

Its fun for a while but whilst ever customers don't know the difference or more likely don't care, shooting digital ticks the boxes.

I love film as an amateur, but must be difficult to use as a pro against digital.

Just as a matter of interest, any pros on here still use film for their core business?
