Hi -
I've just bought some roll paper to use in an Epson 4000pro. Thought i'd try something other (=cheaper) than the Epson stuff and ordered a roll of "Pro Photo SATIN 200g/m² inkjet paper".

When it arrived, it turns out to be "Océ Smart Dry Photo Paper Satin FSC" IJM252 - and looks good. On the Oce MediaGuide website (http://www.oce.co.uk/supplies/mediaguide/) they have a profiles, but when i download it, it's a ".OML" file - not the ".ICC" file i was expecting :bang:

Any ideas how i use this ".OML" file?! ...or how i set the appropriate setting in the Print preferences to get decent results on this paper?!

Cheers - Dave

They are for use with ONYX RIP software only, no good for you what so ever unless you run an onyx rip.

I would get a custom profile, try using a paper setting of "Epson premium lustre 250 roll" that should be close enough.

Thanks Mark - no Onyx rip - haven't tried setting it as the lustre roll yet - will see how it goes! ...am thinking it was a false economy - I should have paid up and stuck to the Epson paper, as it's so much easier to just select it in their driver - by design no doubt!
