So thought I'd tell you guys... :D

Its a little Fiat 500C and is so cute!!!
Plus lots of cool techy gadgets - just set up my phone on the handsfree and the eco-drive to analyse how I drive!!!!

Too dark to take pics at the moment - but am out tomorrow so guess what I will take photos of!!!!!

:D:D:D excellent, is it one of the new ones. We had one of the old ones 20 years ago. My wife loved it. Her love was enhanced by the aspect that to sit in it, at 6'3" my head stood out above the roof through the sunroof :D:D:D

yep - its a new one... white with red roof and italian go faster stripes down the side!!!!
Amazing how many people have some connection to the old ones - and feel that its captured some of that spirit.
I pulled up at home and someone from over the road came over and started telling me stories about how him and his mate used to have some adventures in their 500 many years ago!
I love it - can't wait to go out tomorrow - hope its sunny and i can slide the roof back...

I love how they have caught the character of the old in the new design. Lovely cars! I passed one of the originals on the motorway today, I had forgotten how small they were. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Brilliant little car, everyone at our house loves em!!!!

I look forward to seeing the pics ;)

I first saw one in Germany last year, a beautifully designed small car. I'd love one! :)

That's the sexiest Ferrari in disguise ; congratulations :)

When this new road tax comes in, would you fancy a straight swop for an Aston Martin?

No wonder you're excited - they're fantastic little cars! Enjoy!

I got a new Panda about 6 weeks ago, made the terrible mistake of sitting in a 500 while I was in the showroom. It's a cracking car and I love the retro interior but could only afford the Panda so... Mind you the Panda is fine too, I'm happy with it.

Get some pics up! Saw loads and loads of these in Rome. Really like them, nice quirky little cars. You'll be out and about driving it everywhere.

really like them, bar the obvious(engine in the wrong place) they;re a much more carismatic and faithful to the original than the BINI retro mobile

Not sure it was meant to be faithful. More to make money than anything else I'd imagine. It's definitely sold a shed load that's for sure. I might trade my one in for a 500C though. One of the sporty ones.

abarth S i think it is, something like 200bhp in a matchbox toy!

I love the 'new' 500's (I suppose some could say they're the third encarnation, as 'Cinquecento' actually means '500' too ;)) If I was going to ditch my Stilo though it'd have to be for a red and white 500 Abarth...nasty little beggars they are :D

The Abarth would be sweet. Although, I have seen a new limited edition which is a celebration of Ferrari's birthday. It even has a Ferrari badge on it and comes in that gorgeous famous red colour. Looks pretty sweet. It's called the Tributo Ferrari.

Now thats what i call a pocket rocket. Cool little cars.

All dented I bet :D

I was on the M6 a couple of weeks ago, it's the 1st time i'd seen a original Mini in front of a BMW mini , they look like a Mini when seen by themselves but against the original mini they're massive, it really surprised me just how much bigger it actually was.

Congratulations on the 500, they really are the coolest small car on the road

The MINI was never meant to be a recreation of the Mini, the designer's remit was to produce the car the Mini would have been had it had a normal 8-year lifecycle and in that respect (as both a Mini and MINI owner) I think they've done rather well.

White with red is the best colour combo for the new 500 imho, reminds me of the Abarth 1000TC racers of old....

The Ferrari (not a Fiat) Tributo 695 edition looks rather nice too :)

I love 500's new and old. Have been looking at them today as my car went pop over the weekend. Fiat have offered me £2000 for it with the scrappage deal so am quite tempted!

I like the DIESEL designed one on the Fiat website. Only problem with the 500 is that Fiat can't make enough of them at the minute, looking at end of January delivery if ordered now, my worry is they may soon lose the funky quirky image when every 2nd car you see on the road is one! I believe Fiat have just done a big deal with the likes of the AA and BSM to supply all or a vast majority of their driving instructors cars.....

apart from two things....
its nothing like the mini sizewise
and
it looks very little like a metro...........

(if you take into account the mini cycle of mini>clubman>metro>rover100 which amusingly the original outlasted all its 'replacements')
