Hi All

Having read my four Digital SLR monthly magazines from head to cover on my (horrendous) holiday in Cyprus - I spotted an adapter that will enable me to connect my OM lenses E 400.

OK, so I will lose the auto-focus features - but do you think it would be worth the £90 investment so that I can use my two additional lenses?

I had an OM10 many, many years ago - with the standard 50mm lens, and I also purchased a 75-160mm One Touch Macro lens too (forget which make). I am thinking it may be worth the dosh... your expert advice please, many thanks.

If you're happy with the loss of features then it sounds like a great idea. Not only to use the two lenses that you already have but you can get some great glass at bargain prices these days for any of the pre-digi era mounts.

Have you checked ebay? All sorts of adaptors offered there.

I use my OM fit 300mm f4.5 on a 410 with an adaptor and am very pleased with the results.

Only you know if you will use your old lenses enough to warrant buying an adaptor but as dazzajl says you can get very good prices on pre digi lenses.

I bought a genuine olympus adaptor. More expensive than the copies you can get, but I use it a lot and it hasn't damaged either camera or lenses. A friend bought a non original and has damaged his camera
