Hey has anyone got any tips or ideas to help with my Olympus. It has 36x zoom. I haven't taken it out yet but will tomorrow. Is outdoor photo better quality?
Im not familier with that camera but as with any camera I would advise you start by reading the manual so you can fully understand how to control the camera & its functions.
There is loads of advice on here for getting starting with photography if you use the search facility as well Also take some time to read through the Tutorials section HERE
There is no reason why outdoor would be any better than indoor although if you are using the cameras AUTO mode it may seem that way. This is usually because there is less light indoors, so to compensate the camera will bump up the ISO (how sensitive the sensor is), this in turn may can introduce noise into the image (makes it look grainy). The camera may also use the built in flash, unfortunately this can cause quite a harsh light witch is not very flattering.
When you have some pictures you are happy with dont be afraid to post them for critique, and if / when people do critique them take on board their advice to help you improve
