Yes
Wondering around the local car boot quite late in the day around 10am , Not far from heading home I spotted a camera bag
Strange I thought as any camera worth buying would normally be long gone by that time of day.
I decided to have a look and found the OM20 , Cosmetics looked good clean and not damaged,
Removed the battery cover / cap expecting to find it full of leaking acid , NO clean as a whistle.
Decided to see if the shutter would fire , No nothing , Tried to wind on , Locked solid
Does anyone know if it needs good batteries to fire and wind on ?
Opened the back and that looks clean and in good condition as well

Any thoughts ?

Just fitted 2 new LR44 , forced the film wind on leaver and it moved , Pressed the shutter and it fired , Woo happy days.
It also came with a half decent bag , Un branded strap, and 2 flash guns , One is a Cobra Auto 250 sadly dead .
And a Hanimex X140 Flash that is working , it is very basic.
Just need to see if the meter works :)

 It fired a few times and now the mirror is sticking , Can't see any info in the viewfinder either
Looks like the metering is not working.

If the mirror is sticking, it's probably because the foam they used to stop the 'slap' has turned to glue.

It's easy enough to remove if you have good eyes and no arthritis in your fingers (it's a little 'fiddly').

You'll probably find a video on YouTube . . .

Holy Thread resurrection  :$

Found the OM20 again recently , Tried the wind on and fire , Nothing
Put 2 new batteries in again and it now fires again I may have left it on DOH!
Get no response from the battery test and no beep , Looks like it's time to have a go at taking the top off
And see what's happening inside, I know it does not have much value so if I fail it may go in the bin :(

I had a similar issue with an OM10, turned out the circuit board was cracked,so it got striped for spares, if yours has the same fault, the prism would be worth saving, as there the same as the OM1 & 2, which suffer from the dreaded corrosion.
