I have always been an Olympus Fan - got a few lenses - just need to learn how best to use them.

Does anyone know of any way to get 3rd party lenses to fit onto them??

Sure you will learn alot off these forums and sure someone on here will know if there is a way to get a 3rd party lens to fit

I got a converter for OM to 4/3 from ebay and later bought another with Focus confirm. I love my Zuiko primes. They do them for a range of lens makes.

Depends what you mean by third party? Tamron and Sigma do a fair range of lenses for the Olympus 4/3 mount although not necessarily as wide a range as they make for Nikon, Canon or Sony, they would fit without any adaptor though as they are designed for the mount on your E620.

Tamron don't produce lenses for 4/3, only Olympus, Sigma and Panasonic do (under the Leica name) and their 4/3 lenses are the only ones which give you full automatic control for focus and aperture. You can mount OM, Nikon F mount, Pentax K-mount and many other lenses via an adapter but it's purely mechanical so you have to set the IS focal length, focus and aperture manually.
