Olympus 9-18mm mFT autofocus on Panasonic GF1

I'm looking for a wide-angle lens for the GF1, and the Panasonic 7-14mm seems a bit pricey for the moment.

the olympus 'collapsible' 9-18mm mFT seems like a sensible alternative, but despite trying to find a 'simple' answer to the question whether it will 'autofocus reliably' on the GF1, I've not found one yet.

So: are there any owners of the Olympus 9-18mm that have tried this lens on a GF1? If so, were there any problems?

Any comments on tihs would be highly appreciated ;)
 
thanks for that - based on that table, it looks like the lens should be supported.

Would be nice to hear from someone with first-hand experience of it as well :)
 
You should try posting on the GF1 groups on Flickr too.
 
I have it on a G1 and although I have only used it once so far what I have noticed is it is painfully slow to AF, and when I say slow I really mean slooooooooow, that said I understand the latest firmware update for the G1 sorts it out, I just haven't got around to updating it yet, from what I read it was generally slow on all the G series bodies.
