I'm not sure if the is the right place to post this question, as its my first post since joining. I'm in need of a bit of info and maybe the Talk Photography masses may be able to help.
I'm an ex-pat returning to Blighty to watch the Paralympics. My daughter will be playing wheelchair basketball for Australia
and I'd like to take some photos whilst in the venues.
Now here's the 64 million dollar question, is there a limit on lens length or cameras. I have looked at the ticketing website and on the list of prohibited items is large cameras, inc tripods. I plan on taking my D90 with a 70-300 lens. I don't want to get to the door and told you can't bring that in here!
Has anyone been to the Olympic venues, especially Basketball Arena and North Greenwich Arena, and did you encounter any issues?
Many thanks in advance
Chris
