Hi all , need some advice / opinions please. I have 3 older cameras a nikon d50 with 18-55 ( I know worth very little and very old) and a nikon d90 with 18-55 lens. with these I have a sigma 10-20mm wide angle. The main purpose was a daily camera for family stuff nothing professional. The 10-20mm was for work , taking pictures of woodwork , kitchens etc that I make. Hense the wide angle , large cabinets small rooms. This has served me well and is ok for pictures on a diy basic website. Shutter counts less than 10k for both. I have recently inherited a canon cos 600d with a sigma art 30mm lens and a tamron 24-70mm lens. Would like to consolidate . My needs are general photography , work pictures and the 30mm might well cover that , plus would still need a 10-18+ wide angle. and I guess it would be good to have a general 18-55mm for the canon , if I keep that.Canon has 50k shutter count.
Nikon d90 vs canon 600d for my needs?
sell the nikons keep the canon, or keep one of each?
The canon standard 18-55mm lenses are pretty cheap , especially used- are they no good? Is there a better 18-55 or similar range lens?
Thinking sell the 24-70mm ( worth £300 odd) and use this towards something?
Apologies , lot of info and yet vague , any advice welcome
