Hi I used to post quite a lot here many years ago but due to serious ilness with Ulcerative Colitis meant I was unable to go out taking photos, it led to me eventually having to have an Ileostomy, (a stoma bag) then suffered 4 months of infections with a large abscess and a further two operations, but it has totally changed my health around now and feel fantastic. Then the dreaded Covid struck and this has meant I have barely used the camera let alone gone on many trips.
I have recently sold all my equipment (a serious amount of pro gear) and re-invested some of the proceeds into a more manageable kit that didn't require a forklift to carry it around. I now own a Nikon Z7ii with 24-70 f4 kit lens and F Mount Adapter, plus I have kept my nikon 10-24 DX and 28-300 FX lenses plus my tripod, and thats it, much lighter now.
I must say I am very impressed with the Z7ii coming from my D810 it's amazing and the 24-70 f4 is also brilliant for a plastic lens. I thought I may notice the difference more coming from the f2.8 VR but tbh I havent... so far.
Anyhoo I'll pop a pic in here from a family holiday in Scotland 2 years ago, the last time I used a camera in anger, thanks all.
