great start! I went out with my macro setup this morning to start the challenge

Good strong lines and a nice range of tones. I do like the way you've chosen to frame it too.

Great third image Paul - that's exactly what this challenge is all about - thinking differently. I love the shapes and patterns and the horizontal composition is spot on! :thumbs:

Paulie, the brolly is just such a great idea. it is what it is..abstract yet an everyday object's detail you'd dismiss. composition to the left, leading to right. :thumbs:
