Ok Noticed that all the pictures that have been shot using this filter is in black and white.

If i was to purchase this filter do i have to put B&W setting on cam. Or is it shot normally but then converted to B&W after?

No Laughing:bat::bat:

If you shoot in jpeg you could apply the in camera b+w setting, but if you shoot in raw it won't make any difference.

The filter will work in colour too as shown brilliantly by Les Mclean here. I think its just people think the effect works better in black and white.

Mainly converted to black and white because the filter casts a warm tone in the picture, Shoot RAW, Noise Reduction off, apply settings and effects later such as black and white and denoise.

oh:| lol will figure it out.

Even though i am blonde i can still be quite clever at times lol:D

Could I recommend shooting in both for a week or two,then go onto Raw only.The initial jpegs can be helpful whilst you get your processing skills underway........:)

There's no doubt that an ND110 is a very cool tool to have in the bag.

Shoot normally, and convert to monochrome afterwards if that's what you like. Nothing says you have to do monochrome, but a lot of the ones I do lend themselves to a minimalist look. Here's a couple of examples to show what I mean.

Rumour has it that there is a bit of a wait to get hold of the B&W ND110 at the moment. Warehouse Express is where I got mine - might as well put your order in now and wait...
