Ok, £140 of Bowens free accessories to think about...

What should I get to go with my 500/500/500R set? I'm thinking that as in Bowens terms it's not a huge amount so maybe I'm better off getting something like the RC3 unit plus a little something else... what are your thoughts?

Yeah, it doesn't get you many mods... Maybe a pw card for one of them, and a spare stand or something to eat up the other £30? Grab a pw from onestop or digital rev for £130 and you're sorted for triggering it

The remote controllers are way cheaper off ebay

Are you talking 'simple' remotes or the Bowens RC3 on Ebay? I rather like the idea of controlling just about any flash setting: power, photocell on/off etc etcindividually or grouped without having to run backward and forwards between test flashes when metering the setup.

iirc there was one for 70 buy it now recently on ebay o_0

then with the cashback, get the pocket wizard card for triggering. Assuming you're buying 2 transmitters (redundancy/2 bodies), it's the same price as the pulsar system (pulsar card is only £70, but the on camera transcievers are £150 as opposed to £130 for pocket wizards), so might as well go for the better spec'd setup.
