Oil seed rape.

Are there any good oil seed rape fields from a photographic point of view that should be noted in the north east? Driving back from the south end of the Yorkshire dales there were some vivid colour on show, but tame boring flat fields, wondered if there were any good locations in north Yorkshire or up towards Newcastle way.

Haven't noticed any around Newcastle, the usual fields on the side of the Western Bypass are still brown. I presume the crap weather has delayed the flowers.

I'm from up here but no nothing of note. I'm on the lookout for bluebells at the moment.

Due to the terrible Winter/Spring many arable farmers have ploughed in the Autumn sown Rape and re seeded with Spring version. Normally at this time of year my area (South Leics) is a mass of yellow fields and to date I have yet to see one.
