Yes I know I have to much kit but it does not stop me thinking "that looks nice"

Anyway I kind of thinking about getting a 645 camera :shrug:

I have 6x6 I have 35mm I have panoramic also I have the loan of a Fuji 690 which is great.

So should I go for a 645 system????

And if so why?

Nah....you have 6x9, in fact you have all the best formats.
You have to be a collector to find any kind of use for 645...

What 6x6 camera you got? If you've got a SQ-A just get a 6x4.5 back. Job done. Yeah the camera is not as small but if it's the format you've after that's the way I went

If you get a 645, get the mamiya one. Its a focal plane shutter camera; so you can use your existing 6X6 lens on it with an adapter.

Its the easist way to use the hassy lens; and I have often wondered whether I should get a mamiya; especially since the bodies are often available at 100 ish £

If you need a good platform for a digiback then yes, for sure.

If not, then no. It's a silly little format in my book and MF really starts at 6*6.

Yeah a fair point, I do go throught stages like this but I am not sure if a 645 system is what I want or if I need to get more glass for my 35mm system :shrug:
