I've been humming and hahhing about selling my zooms via SRS recently as I have recently bought the Z8. Decided not to and enjoyed the night photography...
 
Went to Crossness and as it was a buildings/tripod workshop and using bracketing, the K-1 came with me rather than the Nikons (the P50 came with me too)... bracketing plus some generative refill, but wish I'd taken a wider sequence of bracketed shots as even with overcast conditions outside the light levels were really high..... Used the DFA trinity and the FA77 limited on the day.

Time to rename the thread title????

Big up for the FA135 f2.8 lens. With my camera club last night on our biannual walk from Vauxhall to Battersea. I think some of the landmarks are recognisable.

Was using my FA*24/2, FA*85/1.4 and FA 135 during the evening. I really do get joy from using the film era primes on the K-1.

Rumours floating about a K1 Mk3. A lot of overdue updates in terms of AF etc, video and such like. 61MP Sony Sensor - quite plausible at this point - $2500-3000. Rumours do state 2 x CF Express Type B slots which is where I become a little dismissive; my Mk1 K1 has 2 SDXC slots - not even UHS-II while my Nikons have 1 x CFE Type B and 1 x SD UHS-II - so while a potential customer has to fork out for the new camera there is the additional expense of new cars (unlikely that the camera will be cross-compatible with XQD format as well).

So while it sounds great (and owning the Nikons means I have the CF Express cards) I will believe it when I see it. And I will buy it.
