Off work due to weather

I went in yesterday only to find an almost completely empty office. By midday I decided to stop being a good samaritan and went home. Today I won't bother even trying.
 
Business as usual for me, but we didn't get hit particularly hard down here. Not that it'd make a difference; I walk to work anyway :lol:
 
Not off work due to the weather, but due to illness. Has anyone else had a flu virus that lasted a month??
 
I have been at work every day despite the adverse weather conditions.

Monday I was late because of drivers who don't know how to deal with the snow.
Tuesday I had to be ejected from the building two hours after they told folk to start going home
Wedensday I was one of the first in to an office that was suprisingly empty all day
Today, most people are in.

The roads are slippy, the roads & car parks on the business park I work on are very slippy so I just get up early and drive there before all the people who lack driving ability get on the roads.

A bit of preparation and we are fine.
 
I've been in work every day I should have been in. The worst part of getting to work at the moment is that no one takes holidays in early January so the roads are busier than usual. I work on a site with 7,000 people so there have been 45 minute queues to get on site every morning this week. It normally takes me 20 mins to get to work but it's been taking an hour this week and it's not weather related.
 
I'm working from home today, as the train going into the city have been a nightmare.
 
I've been able to do the office part of my job from home, but the physical part has been made impossible not by the snow, but by abandoned cars on the small lanes!
 
Currently at home, but i am call for emergancy faults only, went out to a job yesterday access was only really viable by Landrover.
 
Stuck at home to, Car got stuck this morning

Been in every other day, yesterdays trip was so fun, 2 hours to go 14 miles
 
ive been off tuesday, wed and today, school is re-opening tomorrow for y11-13 pupils and i have no lessons with any of those year groups tomorrow, as im only a trainee not sure if its worth the 100mile round trip to get in to do planning which I can do at home.
 
I am working from home tonight.....I'm a porn star and the wife is loving it.................
