Well, to be honest.. It was a lovely place, the hide is fantastic! if you have a monster lens.. the feeding stations are quite a way from the hide and I struggled to get anywhere near the birds with my 280mm eqiv. Stunning place, just lovely to walk around though!

Never actually been although by the sounds of it my 300mm wouldn't be much use .

Have you been to the Bird of Prey center at Shuttleworth ? , You can get a bit closer...

haha nice! I think 300mm will be to short for the hide

My other shots from summer leys, 300mm is perfect! there's a stunning hide with a nice set up of branches right near the window

Not been to shuttleworth, looks like good fun though
