Off camera flash question

Hi,can anyone answer me this question please, I've got a 580 ex mk1, onto a 1D mk11N, flash is off camera,can I alter the flash compensation on camera instead of reaching up to the flashgun (flashgun is attached to a framework in a hide). Looked through the manual but cannot find anything. Thanks.

I think you need a 580 MkII to do that, plus a master or via an extension cord. You also need a compatible camera - check the menu for flash control functions.

Cheers Richard,the flashgun is attached to a extension cord,and I would have thought the 1D mk11N,would be o.k., wanted to know so I don't have to reach up to the gun to make adjustments, Thanks.
