Hi all
I've got Lencarta studio lights which I've used plently of times with no problems. Today I got a light meter so I thought I'd give it a try out. I read how to use it, set the camera on manual with a shutter speed of 160, which is the correct speed, did a test flash to get the light reading and the meter suggested f13. I set the camera aperture to f13, took a photo and the picture was completely black. I've been playing around for a couple of hours now, ignoring the light meter, and even when I set my aperture to f2.8, the pictures are very dark, even with the lighths up on full.
I then set the shutter speed to 125, took a picture and it's what I would expect - partially black, with the exposed part of the photo over exposed.
So I went outside and just took some test shots - everything is working fine outside.
So, I can only think that I've managed to change some setting on the camera which is messing up the lighting. The flash mode is on wireless, so it's not that.
Has anyone got any ideas - I'm tearing my hair out :bang:
