Got home today and saw that there had been a parcel delivered next door.

Got all excited, jumped up and down for 5 minutes before husband told me to grow up and go round and pick it up and that it would probably be my calendars anyway and not my shiny new camera

Went next door, she gave me my calendars and a box. Thought, mmmm, that's quite light but still quite excited.

Nearly knocked it off the worktop in excitement to open it...........







........ it was my new lowerpro slingshot from Amazon :razz:



Serves me right for jumping up and down getting excited like a child on Christmas.

Oh well, roll on tomorrow

Yes, it's arrived and has so far done, 1st & 2nd team rugby match yesterday, 21st birthday party last night, U10's & U11's rugby this morning and is having a little rest before I take the kids Christmas party this afternoon

Phew, going to have to invest in another memory card or two though cos I'm having to come back to download them. Only got a 1gig card

Such a great camera though, just got to read the manual to work out what all the features and buttons do. Can only work out the Tv and Av bit

Oh and the slingshot is great, so much handier than the crumpler
