These people are a nuisance. I like to give, but not on a regular basis. I give when I can and to who I wish. The problem is that no matter how good a cause it is once they have your details they never leave you alone. I get calls, emails and letters from numerous charities. There was one once that my wife gave to. they undertook not to contact her again if she ticked the box, which she did. A week or so later they did contact her, but only to thank her and confirm that they would not be contacting her again. They never did and it was much appreciated. Needless to say it was one of the smaller charities, and not one of the major, ever more hungry ones.
