Now I'm confuzzled

I have edited an image in photoshop, and saved it as a jpeg,it defaults to .psd
, but i changed it to jpeg, now , when i try to upload it to photobucket, I get an invalid file error, what have i done wrong :bonk:

have you been using layers and not merged them before saving?

Thats what happened to me when I started using PSP X2 and it saved it as a project rather than a jpeg.
