Noticed an oddity with my D200 today

Took the D200 out for my first run with it today and largely it was fine, very nice to use. Strange thing happened when I took it inside a church to take some shots. I focused, pressed the shutter and took the shot, it seemed as if it was using a longer shutter speed than normal then when it took the shot it didn't write it to the memory card, instead just showed me the preview of the last shot taken outside

I tried this a few times and got the same result.

Switched the camera on and off and it went back to normal :cuckoo:

Anyone else had similar experiences with the D200?

Only once, taking some shots inside a church in Malta. I did a default reset and it was fine and has been ever since.........

never known that happen before??????

god knows what could have caused it.

Seemed to be fine for the rest of the day. I updated to the latest 2.01 firmware a day or so ago and that went fine. Was just a little worried as I've bought it second hand.

Do a reset, format the card and see how you go on with it mate, may never happen again..........

I've been formatting the card in camera, its a Sandisk Extreme III 4gb I got from Amazon. Fingers crossed it won't happen again!

The first two posts display a problem with d200's and churches.

The cause is obvious.

Nikon's are a tool of Be-elzebub!

:canon: :D
