Well what a gob smacker, I think I might still live in 1972.
I got married in 72.
I bought the Bush Arena HiFi item 13 on page 24 along with the cassette deck Item 22 on page 29, It was financed with the maternity grant paid on the birth of my son.
The Lenko B55 turntable is as good today as it was when new.
I still have and use both in conjunction with my computer for copying vinyl and cassettes to digital.
I still have and use a Yashica Electro I bought around that time, Item 1 page 12.
Other items I still have that are listed are a Kodak Carousel with a zoom lens, I even have a Moulinex car vacuum cleaner.
I had my first new car in 1972, a 1750 Maxi, I had a Motorola 1070 radio fitted, item 3 on page 22.
The PYE radio, item ten page 22, we fitted to all the company commercials. It had to have a voltage dropper on some 24v heavies, it burnt the paintwork the boss went spare.
Shut up Rhodese your like an old man reminiscing,"oh" I am an old man.
Thanks for posting Amanda, it was a trip down memory lane.
Rhodese.
