Hi, with a week off in a couple of weeks time would love to visit a coastal location in either Norfolk or suffolk. Will make it a day or two as funds at this time is sparse but would like people ideas of good locations. Have been to hunstanton and Southwold, nice but would like something new to visit. Ideally would like something quiet, easy to park and breathtaking scenery! Not much to ask

Breathtaking is a bit of an ask at this time of year! I was out with the camera today and it was more like grey glom.

Anyway I'd go for the north Norfolk coast especially if you've got a couple of days.

All the usual suspects are worth a try - Branchester Bay, Holkam Bay, Wells and of course Blakeney (marshes and point).

Cheers
Steve (from Norfolk)

Cheers steve, hopefully weather will improve for me. With a week off without the wife didn't want to waste time sitting about. Will check theses places out.

I would add Burnham Overy Staith. Beautifully quiet at this time of year and if the light is right it can be superb photographically.

You could try these, I have yet to try them out myself but others photos on here imply a good location. All in Suffolk

Go whilst you still can, scary seeing the difference in pics took there the other year and those a few years earlier and later.

Round the corner from Burnham Overy Staith on the north coast is the equally quiet & lovely Brancaster Staith and Thornham which are both worth a visit, though I didn't spot the well photographed abandoned boat at Thornham when we visited in September '14.
