Hi everyone,
My name is Tony and I'm from Norwich. I'm a beginner photographer and I'm still very much in my infancy in the SLR world.
I bought my Canon 400D about two years ago as I was frustrated with the limitations of point and shoot cameras. I promised myself not to go on a photography spending spree until I had developed my skills, but I quickly became tired of the distinctly average kit lens that comes with the 400D. I managed to acquire a Sigma 70-300 lens from a friend who upgraded to some L glass. This has helped me greatly with motorsport photography of which I'm quite partial to. I've also bought myself a nifty fifty and I must admit I'm amazed at what this lens can offer for the money.
I'm joining this forum to continue expending my knowledge and to look for advice and inspiration. I actually joined a fair while ago, but never got around to contributing on here due to being a moderator on another forum which takes up a vast majority of my spare and online time!
Cheers
Tony.
