Thanks folks, just for your info' I have an Olympus mju 410 so ? don't expect too much too soon.

I have loads of great pictures taken with my Oly c5050 compact camera. I may have new bigger toys now but the camera is only a part of taking a good photograph.

I'm sure you will get plenty of help here if you need it.

All of the photo's, apart from those of scotland, were taken with a £150 compact belonging to kellie, my g/f.

You can achieve good results with a cheap camera!
