Have been reading The Speedliter's Handbook and keen to have a play with off-camera flash.
Currently have a Canon G12 and 270EXII flash. This will be upgraded to 70D (or maybe just 60D) and 580EXII or similar flash. I was looking at OC-E3 cable and maybe the ST-E2 wireless transmitter but have seen non-oem versions on ebay. How do I know whether they're suitable/compatible to use? What features do I need to look for?
