this afternoon i have leveling compounded my bathroom floor prior to tiling.

so as it sets i have no toilet (probably til about 10pm tonight when its finally dry)


i really need a wee!



HELP!


gonna have to go out for dinner and use the facilities there!
 
Cant you just use the garden ?

Just use the cold storage tank in the loft like the builders do.... :gag:

i did my bathroom over a year ago, since then its just been a concrete floor waiting for tiles (but i needed to raise the level by about 5mm to tile straight through 2 rooms (hence the leveling compound) im starting to get all the jobs finished now im gonna be moving away (and leave the house empty until i sell it) when i can buy something new once ive done my PGCE).

its less exciting DIYing your bathroom compared with having pros in to do it, theres no miricle transformation just a slow painstaking transition, my parents have just had 3 rooms refitted and 2 bathrooms done in thier house and its really knocked the motivation out of me to do my own house. im having pros in next time!


pleased though- ive only had pros into this house to plaster 2 rooms, do the carpets, fit the kitchen worktops (i did everything else myself) and do gas/elec. everything else ive done myself
