... freelunch.
Hi. I'm a guy who knows how to make a short story long...
I bought my first Mac in 1998 and I had to learn how to troubleshoot the thing in a hurry. I found myself spending spending far too much time on various Mac help sites, and eventually became quite competent at maintaining my machine.
Since OSX, Macs have gotten increasingly more stable. Unfortunately, routine kept me glued to the Mac help sites. I found myself posting in the lounges and chat rooms. I started posting Desktop photographs I had taken.
Finally, a chap suggested I might be better off posting my images in a photography forum. What a novel idea! I've been hanging out in a North American-based site, then I discovered this place and thought I'd give it a shot.
I can't call myself a photographer I take snapshots. Sometimes, they're pretty good. I put it down to luck, mostly, though I've seen enough photography in my career to know a good shot from a bad one. (I hope.)
Anyway, I hope to be posting the good ones more than the ones that just mean something to me.
For starters, here's a shot I took recently in Wimbledon Park:
Cheers for now.
