No
Ebay has become very tedious on the lens buying front with the most outrageous dogs being sold as in good nick. However some of my period Nikon bodies hang inappropriate glass so I'm still looking for AI or pre-AI lenses, especially standard and wide angle to complement the ones I have.

Greys have lovely stuff at a price but it's not my price, sadly. Does anyone know a shop that has second-hand manual focus Nikkors short of Grey's prices? Wide aperture stuff not compulsory, just something in keeping with the 60s and 70s vibe will do, that doesn't look like the front element has been in a shot blaster preferably.

OO...tut tut, I hope that's not calculated..

I don't know MW the shop, but I don't suppose they will be too pleased about an internet shop nicking their name..

John I think its the same MW - they sell via the net (net shop), and also ebay

Oh I see, I thought with you putting FFords and MWClassics together they were both primarily bricks and mortar....I dunno about sepiamemories..:D

I dont think ffordes and mw are brick and mortar, in the sense they dont have a shop front. At least MW doesn't. I have been top their place - its a room where they keep stock and despatch. Nice folks and very friendly if you drop in though.
Same for sepia. The guy is a marriage photographer, and a part time buyer and seller of cameras. Very friendly chap; I speak to him sometimes.

Not sure if Ffordes have a shop front.

Ffordes definitely do have a bricks and mortar shop - in their advert in AP there are shots of it occasionally....

Ffordes is one of those old fashioned places with floor to ceiling cameras, fabulous place with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Shame its so far up north.

I can highly recommend Ffordes too. I've never visited it in person, but I've bought several items through mail order in the past and their service was always excellent. Their descriptions of used items are very accurate as well. I recently bought a 35mm 'ais' Nikkor from them described as "mint" and as far as I could see, there was nothing to suggest it was a used lens, other than the fact that these lenses were no longer produced.
