The tooling has been thrown away and once stocks are sold, that's it... so this article says...

My parents had a Diana and I've had a bit of a soft spot for humble cheap kit and the pictures produced all my life. Not that I'm going to rush out and buy a Holga while I can but I do think it's sad that these are passing out of production. Maybe there's something else plastic and humble that's still being made, I don't know... but RIP Holga.

Read about this a few months ago. Sad news indeed but inevitable given the profusion of digital imagery. The prices on eBay have gone through the roof just lately.

I picked one up a few years ago after a pub crawl in London. Popped into a off-licence and spotted one up high on a shelf. A quick shuffty through the box revealed it was brand new, unused, complete and fully functional. A bargain at £15. And an absolute steal at £10 after a little negotiation.

I love using it. I know you can replicate the poor quality pictures it produces using a smartphone app. But why bother when you've got the real thing?
