No boot up

I moved one of my xw6000 work stations yesterday.....now it won't boot up....all the fans start up and go for an age then it gives 2 beeps and just keeps the fans going....took GameCube out and inserted it to another desktop and it works fine...any ideas....ps all ram,cpus etc all seated correctly

did it get knocked at all? it might be the RAM, try reseating it (i.e. remove it and put back in) followed by 1 stick at a time if that does not work.

On boot up find the bios manufactures.
Do a web search "for bios beep codes" you will find a few websites that list bios beep codes for each bios manufacturer.

My HP Workstation did this, turned out to be a module that needed reseating as per Neil's recommendation, believe the fault might have actually been some dust interfering with the contact. Aside from that, my XW4600 has been a rock!

think mobo is f^*%ed........ tried everything under the sun....think i will order a refurbished one of ebay.... (n)

You've removed and reseated everything?

It didn't get knocked....took out everything processors re greased and installed.....tried another drive in it.......it just starts fans and drive for ages then gives 2 beeps and then continues to spin everything. Changed graphics card.....still no display......

I think the PDF I linked mentioned CMOS reset. Worth a go.

Very odd motherboards don't often just fail and it's a bit coincidental post move.

Done the cmos reset both by removing the battery and pressing cmos reset button.......evening during "boot" pressing f10 to set up drive doesn't work....maybe it does but I have not display to see.....even changed memory...
