No birds for 4 days ?

4 days ago at about 7am I filled the feeders and stocked the bird table with meal worms, Normally within about 15 mins the Starlings will have turned up and eaten the lot causing major noise and fighting with each other. 4 days later it's all still there and I haven't seen even one bird of any type on the feeder/table where have they gone ? Yesterday our neighbor had scaffolding put up which may have put them off from then on but it doesn't explain the other days !

What do you think.

Same here , Earlier in the year the birds were eating everthing and fighting for best positions
I think it is linked to having young to feed , Now food can be out for weeks and hardly any use.

They are all coming to my garden, it's costing a fortune in mealworms and sunflower seeds.

The birds here have been finding something in the lawn recently.

Birds that normally eat sunflower hearts are ignoring them in favour of walking up and down and eating something from the grass.

Fewer babies to feed and other food available. Maybe they just fancy a change.

Still filling my 3 feeders with sunflower hearts at least once a day!

Goldfinches, greenfinches and sparrows mostly.

I posted something similar, a few months ago, the last couple of days have seen a small return of a few birds, Magpies, Crows, collards doves and a robin.
