Hi all, I've just bought the Nissin i40 flash to go with my Micro Four Thirds gear and it seems to be consistently underexposing by about 2/3 to a stop in tll mode. I'm a total novice when it comes to flash and I never really use it, the only reason I have it is for parties and family gatherings etc so just want to basically stick it on top of the camera and fire away. I've had two flashes for my Nikon gear that I've been able to do this with so I'm thinking there may be a problem with the flash? (or very possibly user error) I have two bodies I'm trying it on (Olympus EM1 and EM10) so I'm pretty confident it's not a camera setting but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

Thanks for any help in advance.

After having a troll through tinternet, seems this is quite common on Olympus bodies, just dial .7 comp for flash on body and much happier now.

Gary, I've experiened the same and a little compensation, as you've found, resolves the problem. And the i40 it's easy to do.

Hi Cliff, I've just done it on my camera bodies so now I can just stick the flash on 0 and I get a "Normal" exposure
