The MkIwill work, but it's not too reliable. The MkII has a much better receiver so is much more reliable. It's the same receiver as the one used for the Di866 which I've got and used a lot.

Yes, I have one and have used it as a wireless slave without issue

Thanks for that. What do you use to trigger it?

I have a few Di662's and while they are a very good flash I have never managed to get them to trigger reliably in the optical slave setting. I have fitted all mine with sync. ports and now fire them with RF-602's.
