I have a Nikon D80, I'm looking around for a new Flash and was considering the Nissin Di622, does anyone have this flash ? are there any others I should look at, I'm looking at a fairly low budget of £120-£150.
 
Have a look at a very good bloke called Damien McGillycuddy. He uses Nissin a lot and I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions on them if you need :)
 
Hi Danny, I bought the Di622. I went to the shop I usually go to and told him what I was thinking of getting - which were about 40-50 quid dearer - and he said no its the Di622 you want so I bought one, he told me it will do everything I need from a flashgun. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Perhaps you can go to your local shop and try it out with your camera.
 
I have 4 Di622's they work very well with Nikon iTTL they have proved totally reliable. You can buy the from 7dayshop for £99.98 in delivery.
 
I have one for canon, cracking gun, works great using ettl, manual, optically triggered slave and even with the canon wireless ettl, I'm keeping mine even though I have a couple of canon guns now.

so with the wireless ttl do they work properly like say another 580 or 430 with remote power adjustment in manual and ratios in ttl and stuff?
 
I'm not sure with ratios, I haven't tried it yet, but I did fire mine and get a perfectly metered shot using just an ST-E2 on camera and no other flash guns.
