Hi All,
Been reading on here a while but not posted before, so a brief bit of background: I'm fairly amateur but putting in as much effort as I can
So, this may be a dumb question, but I'm stumped by it. I'm trying to fire my Di622 flash as an optical slave. If I use the built in flash on the camera (D60 or D700) it fires no problem whatsoever. If, however, I try and fire it using one of my other various flashes (all fairly basic and rubbish, ranging from a 50 year old point n shoot add on type, to a 15 year old Cobra) it simply won't fire, no matter what power setting or distance it is from the 'master' flash.
I assumed that it was the burst of light that made the Di622 fire, is this not the case?
