I am new to flash guns etc, what wireless triggers should I purchase?
 
none, they don't work unless you have the firmware upgrade and even then it's unreliable!
 
did you know that if you set them to slave mode then they will work triggered directly off your pop-up/on-board flash? I didn't know this until earlier this week, and i've had my Di622 for over a year! lol. works quite well.

the other option is a TTL cord

cool, just thought i'd better check. 2mins of my time reading the instructions would have saved me some degree of grief, but oh well. :bonk:

think the PT04 triggers kinda work (when they want to) after the firmware upgrade (free via Nissin)
 
My Nissin Di 622 won't work with the RF 602 even after the firmware upgrade. It's a simple job to fit a 3.5mm socket to the side of flash to allow you to use the radio trigger sync lead or use a sync lead from the camera. So far this has proved 100% reliable and I have moded all 4 of my Di622's. You can get instructions how to do the mod of youtube. Or you could send it to me and I will do the work for a small fee.
