Yes
Having just received a Nikon D750 I thought I'd take advantage of the wifi facility and I also downloaded the app on android which appears quite useful on the surface. I have a couple of questions for people who have used it to see if I've missed something. When trying to download a single file you get 3 options Original, Recommended and VGA for the file size. I go for Original to get the largest jpg. It's annoying (well to me anyway!) to have to keep selecting Original so I went into the settings but they only allow you to select Recommended or VGA and not Original - does anyone know how to auto set to Original?

Second part is that when you select a number of files to download it doesn't give you the option to select the image size and defaults to a small image size. Again, does anyone know how I can select the biggest file size?

The app looks as though it could be good. A few little features to sort out including encrypting your password as it displays it in full.

An easier question, has anyone used the app? What are your thoughts?

My thoughts from around 18 months ago:
Well, ordered one to go with my new 7100. I have started taking more landscapes, and instead of a flippy screen, i though the ability to use my phone screen would be a good alternative, especially while the camera is sat low on a tripod and you dont want to move the camera to check the result.

All i can say that the android app that accompanies the wu1a is a buggy, featureless, pile of *****e.

Constantly loses wifi connection, very slow to operate, the live view takes 15-30s to refresh, clicking the shutter button has similar lag. Total lack of features, no ability to control shutter, aperture, focus, white balance that i can see. No option to download low quality jpeg to speed things up. The app force closes. No documentation. Do you want to view the pictures you have taken, well you wait while the app downloads thumbnails of all the pictures first. Then the app closes 70% through download, you have to start over again. When you do get to see the thumbnails, you have to click one by one to select the ones you want to download. Download of 5 nef files took 3 minutes, when the phone screen went to sleep, the download was lost. So i tried again with just one picture, touching the screen regularly to make sure it didnt sleep. I then had a message 'download complete'. So what can i do with the file once downloaded - adjust exposure, crop, align, white balance. Nope, nothing. Just share or delete.

Absolutely horrendous - AVOID!

Thanks the reply. My thoughts aren't as harsh but not far off. Is there an alternative?

There is a n app called dslr dashboard which is far superior to the Nikon one (on the ipad it is qdslr dashboard)

I think I was in a bad mood when I wrote that, but I did find it quite shocking that a company as large as Nikon could put out such a shoddy app. I don't shoot nikons now so have no idea what alternatives there are.
