Nikon Z8 Grip MB-N12 / 3rd party advice

Hi all, I am looking for some input from anyone using the 3rd party grips on their Z8's, does anyone have one and if so which one and are you happy with it? the Neewer version is meant to be a full replica but I would like to hear real world feedback.

I know of someone who has used 3rd party on their Z8 and has buyer's regret. the camera would occasionally throw up an error message which would clear when the battery is put in the chamber. He is now looking for the Nikon branded one.

Thanks Peter, that is my fear, do you know if that was the Neewer one? the last thing I need is it locking up at a critical wildlife moment when up in Scotland later this year
