Nikon View NX crashing help

Hi I hope some one can help I have Nikon View NX on my laptop which is running windows vista.

The problem is View nx keeps crashing it loads and the crashes after about a minute. With windows saying its closing the program I have down loaded the latest version from the Nikon site but still the same thing happens.

Has any one had the same problem?
Please could some one let me know if there is away to fix the problem?

Can't really offer any advice, but it does happen to me too. It only happens to me when I am saving my raw adjustments, but mainly after I have done a good few saves.
I have to close and open the program again before I can carry on with more saves.
Doesn't crash when converting though, which is just as intensive as a save.
 
This might be a silly , but are you using a d300 or greater as the raw format can be 12 or 14 bit . Nikon capture nx2 did not like 14 bit

it maybe that your camera is supported
