(Nikon) Turn off grid line

Recently picked up a Nikon D700, for some reason every shot taken shows/displays a grid line and a focus point.

Any idea how to turn this function off from showing in each photo taken please…?

Reset to Factory settings is a good start.

To turn off grid lines on a Nikon D700, navigate to the camera menu, go to the "Shooting" menu, then find the "Grid Display" option and set it to "Off.".

Menu> Top left play arrow> Display options>Display focus point

Deselect that option then select done before you leave the menus.
