Nikon SB5000 Radio Trigger

Hi, Does any know if the SB5000 speedlight can be triggered from a something like a pocketwizard mini TT1 to avoid having to purchase another PW FlexTT5? I get the impression this isn't possible but struggling to find a definitive answer!

You'll need a 'receiver' for each flash with the PW flex system.

They ought to be going at bargain prices by now, but as they're still current and some misguided individuals are still buying them, they're still quite pricey.

Thanks Phil. I thought that might be the case! Why would you say the PocketWizards are a misguided choice? They seem to have worked well for me although I would prefer that the camera directly controlled the flashes using RF.

They work brilliantly, but better alternatives are about a quarter of the price now.

So, only the misguided would choose to go with them today.
